A Testimony Out of Mormonism & Turned to Christ

"I was born in Salt Lake City Utah into a 5th generation LDS family. My Mother was a convert to the Church as a teen. My Grandparents In the 40's moved to the LDS Church owned Cumorah Farm, near the Hill Cumorah in Palmyra New York, where my Father and his siblings were raised and worked that farm for 5 yrs.
Later in the 50's my Grandparents who were LDS missionaries, moved to and ran the Joseph Smith Farm, which is also located in Palymyra New York, my Father's two brothers help work that Farm. My Mother and Father moved us away from Utah when I was around 3 yrs old and they went completely inactive and lived as Jack Mormons. My siblings were active in the church when we lived in Utah and remained active on and off after we moved.
In young adulthood my brother was sealed in the SLC Temple to his 1st wife and their son and my sister taught Sunday school. I was blessed in the church as a baby when we lived in Utah but was actually raised outside of the church after we moved. Yet still... my entire life I considered myself and also referred to myself as a Mormon. I was steeped in Mormon thinking, doctrine and theology because my entire life... that's all everyone I lived with knew!
When I was 38 yrs old I gave my life to Jesus Christ and He started to show me that Mormonism was not true, it took me years to renew my thinking by the washing of God's Word (The Bible) I no longer call myself a Mormon... I refer to myself now as a disciple of the Lord Jesus Christ!
My entire immediate family (with exception of one younger brother and his family which have no faith at this point) have given their lives to the Lord Jesus Christ and have left Mormonism! Yet I still have many other relatives and friends who remain in the LDS religion. I love them all and want them and everyone else to know the Joy and freedom and Truth found only through a "Personal relationship with the Lord Jesus" personal relationship to the Lord Jesus Christ and to receive His Free gift of Salvation that is offered to all of us by Grace through Faith in Him"!

our markers to detect them. The Holy Spirit does not contradict Gods word...."
